Education and Background
I hold a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Simmons College and I received my MSW in clinical social work from Simmons School of Social Work in Boston, Massachusetts. I am licensed in the state of Maine as a Clinical Social Worker, am a Certified Brainspotting Practitioner, a Certified Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician, and a Certified Sexual Trauma Therapist.
I have clinical experience working with the most vulnerable populations, and acute cases, in the state of Maine and have had the privilege of training under experts in the world of Brainspotting, including David Grand, PhD., creator of Brainspotting. My clinical experience ranges from outpatient therapy, school-based treatment, residential treatment (in clinical, supervisory, and administrative capacities overseeing treatment and care in a 13-bed unit for dual-diagnosis teens), care coordination and collaboration with hospital and emergency services, in-home treatment, virtual residential treatment, and sexual assault crisis hotline services.
